Australia's First and Only crash tested dog harness, that complies with the AS 5384 standard specific to aftermarket accessories used in a vehicle with a seatbelt, for children, adults and pets. Specifically under Section 12, Pet restraint connected to a seat belt or a seat belt buckle, Clause 12.3 Dynamic testing.

Northbound has an anatomically correct design that is vet and veterinary physiotherapist approved. It is designed to allow for full shoulder movement and maximum comfort. The buckles are custom made from 7075 aluminum, the same material used in aircrafts and have been tensile strength tested to withstand a break load of over 700kg per buckle. The webbing is custom made seatbelt webbing with a break load exceeding 1000kg.

This harness adapts straight from the car to adventure, making it the ultimate adventure harness.

Northbound is designed to work with the seatbelt we use in the car. Seatbelts naturally have inertia locking systems designed to remove additional slack and become rigid in a crash, which limits the distance the passenger moves.

Ranger K9 is on a mission to give all dogs the protection they deserve in the car. This is why The Northbound harness, has a 6 point adjustment system, including the chest plate itself, meaning every dog can have a custom fit.
